We were so excited for our trip to Disney World. We had planned everything perfectly and couldn't wait to experience in all the attractions. But, as they say, the best laid plans of mice and men often go sideways. On our second day, misfortune struck. My daughter woke up feeling under the weather. A few hours later, I was right there with him! We soon realized we had fallen victim to the dreaded intestinal flu.
It was a complete switch from our picture-perfect vacation. Instead of laughing, we were spending our days confined in our hotel room, rumbling. Our dream trip had turned into a viral vacation from hell.
We spent the rest of our holiday miserable, wishing all the adventures we had missed.
